This ones for Uncle Tyler!

So Uncle Tyler had a 410 shotgun and so Ballard decided to ask Uncle Tyler if we could fix it up for Brody to use and so they worked very hard to make it look really good and here is the finished product a sweet little gun for future little Schumann boys and in the mean time Brody says she sure shoots SWEET!

We shortened the stock and forend we cut the barrel to twenty inches and welded a hammer extension for small hands to cock!

We stripped the stock and the blueing and redid it all and added a bipod! Thanks Uncle Tyler!

Well Bailey is at the second night of her play Pygmalion aka My Fair Lady and After a terrible dress rehersal on Wednesday night resulting in all cast members taking friday off from school to regroup and relax we are happy to announce that opening night on friday was a smashing success no one forgot their lines and the english accents were smooth and understandable which was a good thing because having Ballard lean over every two minutes asking what the heck did they just say was getting very old! Yeah Bailey we are so proud of you!

So Brody has just started a Vclass which is a class he does over the internet on his new novel study James and the Giant Peach, his first assignment was to create a peach recipe and of course he wanted to make a peach shake! He spiced up the recipe by adding Mexican vanilla and it turned out very yummy! His second assignment was to make a paper peach out of tissue paper ect what a fun day we had!

Shooting USA

So Ballard and Brody love to watch Shooting USA on Wild TV which is a show where people shoot really fast and try to hit unusal targets. The other day a gentleman was shooting an egg and well Brody just had to try it!

Easter Fun

Well we had a fabulous easter minus the freak snow storm with toonie size snowflakes they were huge! Brody loved his easter goodies and had fun building a dinosaur maze and then he spent the next few days building all sorts of cool paper airplanes! We had A yummy turkey dinner and enjoyed spending time together!

So Bailey is on Spring break and has been chillin and relaxin, we dyed her hair a dark red and I think she is a cutie patootee with her hair in a messy bun... She can also be extremely funny she has at times made me be in desperate need of a depends undergarmet! She also had to show off her new favorite books Night World they are soooo good!

So I found this awesome craft book at winners (my fave store) that was full of easy awesome crafts that I knew Brody would love so we have spent the last few days being creative with you guessed it paper plates! We are not done yet we are working on some more cool underwater friends and soon our poster board will be filled! My tip of the day craft with your kids! Creativity and imagination are important so don't waste precious time in front of the T.V instead break out the glue sticks paper and crayons and get busy!!!!

We love the dollar Store

So after finishing my spring banner I was still feeling crafty soooooo..... I remembered these cute little shadow box picture frames I had bought at the dollar store (I just love things that only cost a dollar!) And voila cute spring shadow boxes are hanging on my wall and guess what???? The sun is Shining bye bye cloudy snowy weather and hello beautiful sunshine!!!!!!!!!

Where art thou Spring???

So I decided that since it has been snowing alot drastic measures must be taken to help with the arrival of Spring I mean come on how much more snow do we really need???? So when the weather does not cooperate we northern women craft.... with the help of some very cute scrapbook paper voila.... one very cute spring banner was born!
